watch out... grumpys about .. yes here i am again on my sunday soap box
snuffling through the news like a pig through truffles and came across this horrific story.
Three of Britain's most notorious female criminals are living in the same seaside resort town, according to horrified residents.
Maxine Carr, the ex-girlfriend of double murderer Ian Huntley, 'Baby P's' mother Tracey Connelly and kidnapper Karen Matthews are all said to have homes close to each other This has raised fears that the popular tourist destination is being used as a dumping ground for Britain's most unwanted criminals.
Carr, 38, served 21 months in jail for providing Huntley with a false alibi after he murdered two schoolgirls
Huntley was given a double life sentence after he was convicted of the murder of Holly Wells and Jessica Chapman
Carr, was the girls' teaching assistant at St Andrew's Primary School, Soham, Cambridgeshire.
Her failure to expose Huntley's lies in the early stages of the investigation meant that police initially eliminated him as a suspect.
It took the police nearly two weeks to arrest and charge him.
The court accepted that Carr had only lied to the police to protect Huntley because she believed his claims of innocence and so found her not guilty of assisting an offender.
She has reportedly already been moved from one address because of the reaction of people living in the area.
Karen Matthews, 39, who faked the kidnap of her own daughter to claim £50,000 reward money has also been seen in the seaside resort
She orchestrated the disappearance of Shannon, then nine, in 2008 and the search became a major missing person operation which was compared to the disappearance of Madeleine McCann.
The girl was found in a house which belonged to Michael Donovan, the uncle of Craig Meehan - the boyfriend of the kidnapped girl's mother.
Matthews, from Dewsbury, West Yorkshire, was charged with child neglect and perverting the course and she was jailed for four years.
She was given a full makeover including a new hairstyle before her release to prevent her being recognised.
But one resident on the sprawling estate in the resort where she now lives said: 'She has put on so much weight you cannot fail to notice her.
Tracey Connelly, the cruel mother who allowed her 17-month-old son Peter to be tortured to death, was also seen strolling through the streets of the tourist town.
The 37-year-old was jailed in 2009 after she admitted doing nothing while her little boy was tortured to death by her boyfriend Steven Barker and his paedophile brother Jason Owen.
She was relocated from a half-way house in northern England to the popular seaside town, where it is hoped she can find work.
Until she gets a job, she will receive housing benefit of about £400 a month, Jobseeker's Allowance of £72.40 a week and emergency grants of about £750 to decorate and furnish her flat.
The junk food addict, who has ballooned to 24 stone since being released from jail in November, has also been urged to change her name, alter her appearance and not to tell anyone about her past.
The 'Baby P' case provoked a national scandal after it emerged that social workers, police and doctors missed a series of warning signs that could have saved the child's life.
As she was granted parole, Connelly had begged for an anonymity order and round-the-clock police protection, but ministers refused.
These orders are rare and only four are currently in force, including one for Carr, child killer Mary Bell and James Bulger's murderers Robert Thompson and Jon Venables.

horriffic isnt it..
another piece of kneejerk tabloid journalism by the daily fail
yet the name of the seaside town is still being kept a secret for now the government may be able to gag the papers but not the web..
which means the tax payer is now going to have to foot yet another bill to get these 3 monsters to safety.
but it just proves that toothless justice can gag all they like and create new identities but it wont make any difference.
they have all been tarred with the monsters brush by the daily fail
yet carrs motivation was trust and she only lied under oath because she belived huntlys lies and didnt have anything to do with the killing of holly and jessica although she could have been huntleys next victim had she not done so
and karen matthews motivation was pure selfish greed although i dont condone what these two have done they will have to live with their guilt for the rest of their lives.
the only one i have no sympathy for is connelly i would love to see her hung from the pier along with whining sharon shoesmith who is missing from the list she is the biggest monster of them all.

What is most shameful of all is that she was released after only 4 years. She should have got at least life (without possibility of parole).
What's more, if you think about it, if anyone else had done that to her child, without her knowledge, then that person would never have been able to go near children ever again (and quite rightly so), yet she seems to to be allowed to have another one of her own. Something doesn't seem quite logical there.

The problem Is and has always been, sentencing guidelines and mitigating circumstances.
The truth Is, Maxine Carr, Baby P's Mother and Karen Matthews did not kill their children. In depth reports show that they did not abuse the child, children themselves. They were convicted because they allowed partners to do It and turned a blind eye. However revolting that Is to us, they did not kill and Judges due to sentencing guidelines can not give them harsher sentences.
A few years ago I sat through an entire murder trial at Winchester Crown Court. The defendant was found not guilty of murder but manslaughter, thus, the jusge had guidelines. Then because the defendant was under 17 years old, he Is legally classed as a child and again, more guidelines. He got 4 years for kicking a man to death In the street, out In 2 with good behaviour..
