Many of you may have noticed that when It comes to a particular neighbour, I refer to her as ' The Revolting neighbour'.

She has just posted this on facebook.

ok im gonna have a rant and it probably wont be popular..BUT SERIOUSLY remaking do they know its Christmas....AGAIN????? the song grates on me anyway but dont u think nearly 30 yrs on they can write something new? who really wants to go out and buy a song again covered by different artist??? these people are spose to be the cream of British talent and yet between them and all their hits they are re-hashing the same bilge time after time. The song is already on every Christmas compilation album ever released ffs. So if any of u happen to know Bob Geldof tell the now untalented twat to get off his ass and actually do something new and save my ears, (yes its a bad morning anyway that just tipped me over the edge lols)

My reply to her.

Julie Ubedizzy Lake The constant remake Is to get people to continually donate to Africa and starving children. Band Aid may be 30 years old but children are still starving to death while we sit down and stuff our faces. It's a constant reminder of how lucky we are. If a song getting on your nerves Is the least of your worries, then count yourself lucky. I'd rather have that than be starving under a blistering heat fighting to keep my babies free of disease and being raped by marauding militia due to civil war. Band Aid may be 30 years old but while we stuff our faces at Christmas, babies die from lack of food and clean water. I don't care how many times they play It. If It reminds us of how privaliged we are then so be It.

its bad enough that we have most of them here but to hold out the begging bowl expecting us to keep their families back home is taking the p*ss.

how many years 30 ask yourself how much would that have raised enough to make the country viable yet they still show the same old appeal ads on tv.

personally i hope the record flops its time to start spending this money on our own needy

do something really good this xmas dont buy it dont donate and if you have a spare quid this crimbo give it to the needy of our country not someone 4,000 miles away..

If the song grates on you don't buy it, use the off button on the radio or tv when it comes on. Never actually bought it myself, give money in other ways. I remember all the criticism at the time of the original, all the sneerers and finger pointers who thought nothing would come of it. It embarrassed governments in to doing a bit more to help and made the point that ordinary people could make a difference.

As to the needy in this country that's why we created the welfare state if you want to help peple at home stop supporting right wing fringe parties that want to undo all that socialism has achieved and turn us in to self centred fascist bastards.

The posts on her status went long Into the night and ended up at the last count of 37 posts. She ended up saying ' It's my profile, I'll write what I like'.

I would stop oversea's aid tomorrow from our government but I have always said that money should be directed where It's needed most.

The Issue I have Is when people who have never worked a day In their lives, have children that are grubby and underfed to pay for the tattoo's and piercings critisize those such as Geldorf for caring.

This woman Is a revolting example of all that Is wrong with Britain.

There are very few Council houses left In the next road and she has one of them, a 3 bed. She's just had a brand new kitchen and triple glazing fitted by the housing authority, along with new flooring. Yet further down the road, old 89 year old Jim can't get a carer to come In one day a week because he's ' not ill enough'. and he can still walk.

This woman claims every benefit going even disability for depression... funny, she's not depressed when she's In the pub 3 nights a week.

Her husband actually does all he can to find work but any job ends within weeks because she claims she can't cope with the two toddlers and Is forever calling him home.

It's not so much about whether It's right or wrong to give to Band Aid... It's about the fact there are people In this country that are privaliged and cosseted frowning upon It. This woman will go Into a full rant If the Council are half an hour late to come out and fix something on the house she's never paid for while babies die In the Sudan.

She has never worked a day In her life and has £4,000 rent arrears, £4,000 council tax arrears etc etc but can't evict her because of the toddlers.

It's all very well to critisize Band Aid from the comfort of our own homes and people like her, selfish beyond belief, get right up my chuff.

I'm afraid I have to agree with Mr Grumpychops for once. Charity should begin at home. My personal charity of choice is the NSPCC, or any UK children's charity. I think it's wrong to be ploughing good money after bad into other countries when our own economy is in the state it is with children in our own country going undernourished & abused.

Also, ask yourself what percentage of the monies raised by these charity organisations actually reaches the cause itself & how much goes into admin expenses. More often that not you'll find that at least 80% of it is Admin - both for home & foreign charities.

Any aid Is better than no aid...

Funny that because your post Is what she came back with at me last night... sorry, cop out.

Then she bleats on at not having a spare quid... try smoking, drinking, stuffing your face, less tattoo's, less piercings, stop going down the pub, less ciggs etc etc

Well I never.......I am almost 100% in agreement with the BNP candidate, so she can't be all bad.

I will take issue with this fine English lady being what is wrong with this country though.

There are lotsa people taking advantage of the system, the biggest drains are those at the top, because they do it wholesale. You cannot blame people for being people, and feathering their own nest within the rules that apply to everybody else.

The Rules need changing........simple.

Don't get me wrong, I believe charity Is a personal choice... mine goes to buy reconditioned ambulances to scrape Injured Foxes up off the road and with my husband, It's Donkey's. We have a standing order with the Red Cross and a charity In the Sudan also.

While I would stop over-sea's aid by government, I would like to see more channeled Into the most needed area's.

Yet I find something quite repulsive about a tattoo'd, face pierced, ****witt bragging on Facebook about how much food she's bought when she's never worked a day In her life and the tax payer, ie, me, keeps her... There is a vile sense of entitlement with her Ilk In this country.

As I said to her last night... as a nation we have become greedy. We per say, go Into supermarkets and snap up the bargains, not because we need It or even want It... It's on offer so we grab with every chance It'll be In the bin by the next week.

I don't know how we conquer starvation In other parts of the world and I don't pretend I have all the answers but I do feel In the West we have become selfish and greedy even with my revolting neighbour knocking Geldorf for actually giving a toss.

This Is what opened my eyes...

Many years ago, we became Involved with a Charity building a school outside Mombasa, Kenya. We ended up sponsoring two five year old children. We paid monthly right up to when they were 18 years old.

The letters we got were lovely. It started with the Father writing because he was the only one In the village who could but year by year, the childrens writing and drawings got better.

One day, Admin were out there and sent a pic as an attachment with the title ' new kitchen for villager'... When I opened the attachment, there was a hole In the ground with a grill over It.

After the first year, the admin were flying out to the village with gifts. We asked our children what they'd like most of all for Christmas... being Westernised, I expected to be asked for a football shirt, a doll, something like that. So It was a shock to be asked for £15.... just £15 ... because this would buy them a Goat and some chickens. The milk and eggs would feed them for years.

That's why people like my neighbor annoy the shyte out of me,:-5

Have some pics of the children somewhere..

Julie Ubedizzy Lake And do you not think with muti globalism and mass Immigration that It's just a matter of time before It reaches our shores? Do you not think that those boats loaded with West African refugee's fleeing civil war zones and fleeing Ebola Infected Liberia to reach Europe are not all going to make It ? It takes just one Infected person In Europe to cause a mass pandemic... what we don't do, Is sit around waiting for It to arrive and then complain about all the British people dying from It. You treat It at source. That's the only way to stop It entering the UK. I'd rather they went out there and spent the money stopping the spread than sit back and wait until It arrives at our airports and ports. As In everything In life... you treat the source not the effect.

I understand both sides.. My mother was saving bottle caps when she was a little girl to place water pumps.. Still no water pumps.

I do not believe it is the individual in Africa fault, it is their government.

That is the reason why I do not give any money to Africa. I used to donate clothes and food.. Untill I heard that some clothes get sold over in Africa instead of given to the needy people.

Now I donate my clothes to the homeless in The Netherlands.

But the other side of the story is: my mothers neighbour.. She has worked one day in her life, caught stealing. On wellfare, but has a new car, brand name clothes, smokes, a hair dressors that comes to her house once a month and home help even though she has no physical problems.

Now my mother still has problems with her thyroid, a knee that will give out at any moment and needs replacing, my dad has lung problems and has had a heart attack and my brother has been given (if he is lucky) 1 year to live.

Funny enough they get absolutely no help from the government what so ever.

I wonder wtf the neighbour has told the government and what swindle she has going on to get all this help, whilst the needy get nothing..

I understand your frustration Oscar. And if your neighbour doesn't like hearing the song etc., then change the channel would be my advise to her!
