I've had a scuffing of snow the last couple of days. I'd not like to slip over. So far I haven't. Earthquakes, on the other hand, are very distinctly absent, along with UFOs and street riots.

When did CT have earthquakes, Taz? Don't remember hearing about it. We had an earthquake in NYC a few years back. So weird & frightening, like my building was falling down. Of course my cousin in CA laughed at me!

Are you ready for Juno? Went out today to shop. Oh, I had everything already, except milk. During Sandy, electricity off for 4 days or so, & I have batteries, flashlights, candles & cats, so no worries. Even a battery radio, AM/FM.

It should stay good for a Patriots win in Superbowl. As for your bragging, Ms. Patsy, I would too!

Fairly quiet here in Cornwall, normal winter conditions, fairly mild and we've even had a few dry days which has been a bonus.

Just came back from a refreshing walk in our blizzard! Not so bad yet, not by New Hampshire, Wisconsin standards. They say it will be soon though, & are banning all traffic except emergency vehicles off the road.

'Night now, time for Gotham!

We were up to 70 and sunny today, more of the same for a couple of days, then back down to the 30s and snow on Friday.

I love Colorado weather.

You guys back east stay bundled up and stay warm.

Anne

My Dear - East Coast looks terrible & you could be in for a few tough days.

Our Winter is mild this year - We're having Spring weather here - my Glads & Rose bushes are blooming.

Your Patriots landed today - not sure if too many fans will make it here for the Superbowl due to the weather - sounds as if they didn't get out today the Fans maybe all wearing Blue & Green...:sneaky:

Go Seahawks

It's been a very mild Winter here, on the whole, apart from the past few weeks, which have had a few really frosty days, which is far from pleasant on Da Beasty (although, strangely enough, it seems to prefer it - starts up in the cold better than in fine weather). I've even got me a can of De-Icer to keep in it's boot, although now I've got it you can be sure the weather'll be fine - so you know who to thank.

If there's going to be snow, I'm not looking forward to that. Da Beasty had only got little 12" legs. At least the roads I use are very busy ones, though, so most of it will have been cleared by other traffic.

Hot or Cold, the weather I hate most, though is Fog - and worst of all - Freezing Fog, especially when you get the nutters out there who never bother to adjust their driving speeds for the weather conditions, and more often than not don't even turn their lights on. It seems to go from one extreme to the other. Those who keep their fog lights on in all weathers (which, incidentally, is illegal), dazzling all oncomers, and those who don't use their lights at all where conditions most warrant it.
