Did You Buy Into The Domino Theory

I sure did in the begining. Afterall we gotta keep those commies from jumping from one island or country to the next or across the Pacific and landing on our pristine shores. I changed however and started really questioning our Foreign Policy as I do now.

No it was patanetly absurd right from the very beginning. Morality never came in to it it was always about economic resources.

Nor the arrogance that it was Ok to intervene in a country to overturn any nations democratic processes.

I don't see why we need to stand by and watch a country go communist due to the irresponsibility of its people. The issues are much too important for the Chilean voters to be left to decide for themselves.

Henry A. Kissinger

Or no they can't have control of their own natural resources not when we want them.

Small countries, close boarders. China/Soviet Union sending troops.

Begins to look plausible.
What happened to Kamala Harris' campaign?
She had the black vote all locked up.

Back in the sixties it was used as an excuse to interfere in the affairs of smaller nations and overthrow populist democratic movements particularly where american economic inrterests were threatened - just look at wht ent on in chile and el salvador not to mention iran and iraq. It's not plausible in the least and five minutes analysis is all it ever took to see the flaws.

I was thinking of buying the Domino Theory, but decided to use a local Pizza shop instead.

One nation at a time.

We've seen that before and it is going on to this day.

Call me crazy, but history does seem to repeat itself.
