Oh, I say, what? Go for it, George! The Phoenix rises from the ashes!

Respect.

Mind you, if Lord Sutch were still alive, I imagine he'd be running too. Mind you, it wouldn't surprise me if Nick Griffin tried running as Independant BNP candidate either.

The Pheonix got his arse burnt in Bradford. He needs another platform to complain about all the nasty people not voting for him and cheating him from his parliamentary seat

Neither Mr Griffin nor Lord Sutch have the major credential of being the most admirable Labour MP of his generation.

Agreed. Despite his faults I still have a great deal of respect for Tony Blair.

I lost every morsel of respect for that man despite putting my X in the box. Both him and his wife are very far removed from what the Labour Party stand for.

Still, they've done very well for themselves, thank you very much.

In what way can you have respect for someone who is a liar, totally self serving and believes god will judge him?

I would rather entertain at my own expense the entire surviving complement of Margaret Thatcher's various cabinets than discover Tony and Cherie were holidaying in the same county, may they rot.

Just for once I agree with you.

On the other hand george galloway while a consummate speaker is a slimeball pretending to be an old time socialist interspersing his monologues with couthy homilies to keep up the image that give me the dry boak every time I hear him.

XXX ......Translation for the USA English speakers...... XXX

"Although George Galloway can speak well he is a slimeball. He pretends to be a socialist with his comfortable friendly eloquence with fire in his bellly, but he makes me want to vomit when I hear him"

I think I agree with you yet again GMC
I thought I knew more than this until I opened my mouth
