It was all a major let down, even more staggering is the fact they are going to not deal with it. Bizarre.

It was very clever, but far too clever for my liking.

I think it is about time for a body count on the square, that is probably the reason the country is on high alert.

The one redeeming thing, I am not afraid to say, is that I have always thought Adam Woodyatt was a bit of a knob, but he can act.

I must say that all the actors in Eastenders are very good actors, but the one who stood out head and shoulders above any of the others, this week, was Adam Woodyatt as Ian Beale - He must surely get a gong in the next allocation. As a person, I can take him or leave him but as an actor - he just gets better and better ! I really enjoyed this last weeks Eastenders and I don't mind admitting it. I appreciated how all the actors performed their parts, very convincingly and I didn't notice any mistakes in the live episodes, and that says something for the professionalism of all of them (technical staff et al ). Well done Eastenders !

I reserve judgement about how Lucy's death was explained, and I await a hopefully sensible completion to that particular storyline - one that is believable under the circumstances. I am sure they must have legal guidance on a probable outcome.

By the way it is interesting to see that Phil's ex Kathy is back in the square !!!! She was supposed to have died in a car accident abroad wasn't she ? I suppose the storyline will be something like she was in a coma for some time, having had reports of her death sent to the UK but nobody followed it up so nobody realised that she had recovered over time.

Not as far-fetched has Bobby Ewing having a nightmare so all the Dallas stories of the death of Bobby Ewing and everything that followed were just a dream after all !!!! I used to watch Dallas and enjoy it, but as soon as they brought Bobby Ewing back to life, I switched it off and never watched it again. They only did that because they had so many letters saying they missed Bobby Ewing, and also the viewing figures had dropped to nearly the basement ! Ah the all important viewing figures ! :yh_rotfl

Well didn't Peter say he could not take no notice of the present knowledge. I can't remember whether Peter was in the final family hug with the others or not, as the credits rolled up the screen. If he wasn't then that leaves it open for a very interesting storyline about how or whether young Bobby will be involved in the investigation - he is under the age of responsibilty in law, and the death was manslaughter, as it was accidental. Could be an interesting storyline. Interesting piece of news - the actor who plays the part of Peter is leaving Eastenders in the Summer I believe. :sneaky:

Peter wasn't in the final hug, he'd walked out by then. Yes, Adam has done a fine job this week, but also I think the guy playing Peter stood out for me too. Jane seemed a bit cardboard like.

Welll there was the poor bloke that Nick Cotton did for in the first episode (was it the first ep.?)

Then there was Den Watts

Then Ethel (Euthanasia by Dot ?)

Then there was that pub landlord Archie that raped somebody ( but his victim did for him by bashing him with the Queen Vic. bar statue !) - Is Archie still buried under that shrub in the Square (I can't remember

Bradley Branning threw himself of a roof and died.

Wasn't there an ex. of Phil's who fell/was pushed off the flat roof of a tall building ?

Then of course Lucy Beale - manslaughter by young Bobby Beale, (who is under the age of responsibility)

There was Vronny's teenage daughter who was knocked down and killed in the Square.

I can't remember, at the moment, any more but I'm sure I've missed some out ! :yh_rotfl Can anybody add to this list. Not sure if 'natural' deaths are to be counted.

Bruv, I don't know where you got that information from, but you can tell 'em it's a fib ! I've just looked at the wikipedia page with the complete list of deaths ! Flog a dog !!!! If you thought I could remember all those names, you give me too much credit ! :yh_laugh It's a hellova surprise seeing just how many people were bumped off ! There seem to be more murders than Midsomer Murders, and that's a place that is loosing it's population rapidly ! :yh_rotfl

No it was Peter.............I saw him do it.

The twist is.............he doesn't know he did it, he pushed whatsher name and she fell down and died.

Bobbies mum disposed of the body, working alone, she has admitted it.

Why they didn't just own up at the time, nobody knows?

Oh yeah Ben mugged her before she died, thats how he has become involved with her phone and DNA and all that.

I am an Eastender aficionado....................obviously.

Then there's Miss Marple. Don't you find that suspicious? Wherever this ENGLISH woman goes there's a string of murders, yet she always manages to pin it on someone else & no-one seems to see a pattern forming.

I hope that we are making a distinction between Angela Lansbury (a thinly disguised and diluted Marple) and Margaret Rutherford. Let's not even mention Joan Hickson please.
