Follow the money: who sponsors the Corbyn smears?
It is a greedy self serving and evil system, misleading and misinformation abound, I have never seen it explained in such a clear way.
But what is the solution ? Revolution ?

If serial, corrupt governments keep ignoring and suppressing people, revolution is an increasingly likely event eventually, especially if food prices start to rocket!

Is it the government or complicity/conspiracy between whoever is in charge, the Elite, the Money men, those with something to protect, while the rest of us are just treading water for much of the time.

Fascinating article. I expected to see the usual suspects but a little shocked to see the Independent and Grauniad whoring themselves in the same fashion. It's sordid for sure but how do you fight corporate greed. They dont, it seems, have boundaries, principles or scruples at all when it comes to gorging their appetite for more money

The most telling sentence to me was......"To a newspaper, the audience is the product and that product is sold to clients to generate revenue."
It isn't necessarily greed on the papers behalf, just the way the system works. They have to please the people that pay their wages and that is the advertisers, and the ones with the most to pay are the worst offenders.
I don't think it was always like this.............was it ?

Corporatism, also known as corporativism, is the sociopolitical organization of a society by major interest groups, or corporate groups, such as agricultural, business, ethnic, labour, military, patronage, or scientific affiliations, on the basis of common interests.

Used to be church and monarchy running things for their own benefit now it's orporations and government/financial institutions. Twas ever so variations on a societal theme it's just getting more and more blatant hopefully arrogance will bring about change.

Want to know what's frightening landowners in scotland and england? next time you see a sign saying no trespassing on open moorland in england just ask yourself how did the owner end up owning it or who decided that the shale oil under lancashire (and before that the coal) didn't belong to the people living over it.
Looik at the house of lords we give already rich people a title and expenses and take the benifits off disabled people and just shrug our shoulders because we can't change things - or so it seems.

Birds of a feather, and all that. They all look after each other's interests. That's fine till the organic by-product hits the fan, then it's usually every man for himself, whilst offering up a sacrificial scapegoat in the hopes of appeasing public indignation!

At least in the good old days the church and monarchy had benevolent intentions, this lot don't.

The current 'elite' wouldn't know the meaning of 'compassion', 'honesty', 'ethics' or 'morals' even if it jumped up and bit them in the small, pink, ovoid objects!
Good business sense, let alone common sense is also a non-starter, by the looks of it. As I said in another thread about a week ago, prepare for credit-crunch 2; "World Financial Melt-down", especially if China 'hits the skids'....

Can't say I agree with you - if being benevolent was going to help their ends perhaps. Human rights as a concept owes little to either monarchy or the church neither of which wanted their sibjects or followers to question their right to rule or demand equal rights

When was that then? Consider the very name of political cabinet positions - the ruling elite - Ministers. The Ministry. The Church has never been short of a few bob either - and where did all that wealth come from? Taxation & confiscation of properties.
