Politicians in uniform

Post by spot »

I watched a few minutes of the BBC 24-hour news channel yesterday. The item consisted mainly of a chap engaged in damage limitation, he being responsible for the behavior of US forces in Afghanistan and a genuine really-truly hospital having been blitzed by one of his warthogs. As best I could make out he's His Excellency President for Life, Field Marshal Alhaji Dr. John Campbell Dada, VC, DSO, MC, CBE, Purple Heart, Eagle Scout and Bar.

No?

Well if the gentleman chooses to dress like Idi Amin and act like Idi Amin he can damn well have His Excellency's titles too. Why Americans play dress-up like that I've no idea but they do look pretty daft in the process.

I object to the fact that he attempts to minimize damage to his own by brazenly lying from start to finish. An independent inquiry would at least have a different objective.
