A beautifully fresh and bright Sunday afternoon, ripe for a refreshing walk along the Kent coastline with views of the White Cliffs and South Foreland Lighthouse.

wow. Absolutely gorgeous. I've heard of those big watery things before...oceans. But we have nothing like that in the desert.

Not so much an Ocean but the English Channel. The French coast is about 22 miles across the channel and on a clear day, which it was yesterday, you can see France from the top of the cliffs.

On my first trip to UK, I made the drive down to Dover for the weekend, and explored along the area.
The home of the soul is the Open Road.

Did you go to Dover castle Lars ?

I hope you made the time to go to Canterbury Cathedral.

I did go the Dover Castle. was fascinating. Spent a good part of the day exploring. Also wandered west to Folkstone, and visited the "Battle of Britain" museum near there, followed a hiking trail along the cliffs.
