The future of the Christian churchss

The statistics are clear that the church in North America are in serious decline. Where is this going? What will happen to Christianity? Why is the church in decline? Is there any hope for the church in the future?

Is this uniform across the US? Is there and difference between, for example, the Anglican community and the Southern Baptists?

What are the Churches doing to ensure that the message remains relevant to current society?

I'm not so sure I think you are about to see the christian right make a bid for political power albeit not as a unified political force but as an amorphous protest movement agaisnt everything except what they should be protesting. The tea party was it perhaps a manifestation of this and it's a powerful ebnough force that donald trump is trying to win it over and none of the presidential candidates dare say anthing that makes them seem irreligious. You even had one that openly said he would end access to contraception altogether if he could. Which church are you on about the catholic one or the protestant, usually when people talk about the "church" they mean catholic.
