Since it came up in a different thread, I thought I'd make a thread of it's own to promote this really excellent website. It's dedicated to all things manly, and I mean in the old school, passed-on-by-dad way. From tying ties to carving turkeys to how to speak with women without dominating the conversation, this site really is outstanding.
If you are a man, or have a man in your life, you should definitely check this out.
The Art of Manliness
It has cool stuff on manly skills, dating and relationships, family life, and all sorts of other things that used to be passed on from father to son, but have largely been forgotten in the digital age.

I liked the article on lock picking. Lock picking opens your eyes to the “illusion of security.. I learned lock-picking and use to open tool boxes for fellow workers who left their keys at home. As one co worker told me, locks only keep the honest person honest.
What I really liked was the one on You May Be Strong . . . But Are You Tough?
Just this morning I watched a TV show which involved a Karate expert who with his own hands committed a murder. A Karate instructor was asked about this and he told them, I paraphase,
"When faced with danger, he will run away with confidence."
For me at my age and years of marriage there isn't much for me. In my younger years, it would be different.

What happened to Kamala Harris' campaign?
She had the black vote all locked up.
