Friend telling me I dont have to be at every social thing she does

Post by jashley »

I am so upset, this girl from my church who I thought was my friend had a ladies night get together and posted pictures on FB, and when I asked what it was for and if it was dress shopping she said "No. We were hanging out. And you dont need to be at every social thing I do, ok? Im sorry, but no." What the heck? She hasnt ever invited me to a single social thing shes done, ever. And then I said well sorry for asking I just felt excluded. She said theres no reason you should have felt excluded. But isnt that what you just did? And then to follow it up with an exclusive remark of I dont need to be at every social event you do. Wth?

Hardly surprising. I wouldn't invite you either. Besides, why do you keep stalking her on your FaceBook if she isn't your friend? Tip - if someone doesn't give you any reason to believe that they are a friend of yours, which this person clearly hasn't, then don't add them as Friends to your FaceBook.

I tend to blame Donald Trump for this. BT(before Trump) folks were a lot more careful about saying things that could hurt someones feelings.:-3

therefore my best advice is to - vote Cruz/Fiorina or Clinton/Sanders and bring civility back to American soil today!:guitarist
I expressly forbid the use of any of my posts anywhere outside of FG (with the exception of the incredibly witty 'get a room already' )posted recently.

Folks who'd like to copy my intellectual work should expect to pay me for it.:-6

Why wouldnt you invite me either? Because I come across as wanting to be invited to things when they dont want to invite me? why dont they want to invite me in the first place?

Because you are obviously totally self centred it's all "Me, Me, Me", going on all the time about "how horrible every is to me". Do you have the foggiest idea about how irritating that is to other people? Every single one of your posts is about what you want everyone else to do for YOU. Not once have you ever said anything about what you might be able to do for anyone ELSE, and even if you were to do so, with you it would be to do it with the intent of getting other people to do things for YOU, rather than simply doing things for other people for the sake of doing it. Try getting out on the street & talk to the homeless people out there. Listen to their problems. Don't tell them about yours. Do what you can to help, but do it from the sidelines. Seeking recognition for your actions defeats the whole point of it.

Count your blessings. There's always someone worse off than you. When you get your head out of your backside long enough to see that perhaps then you'll stop whinging about yourself.
