15-year-old discovers ancient city

Post by Bruv »

A Canadian teenager may have outshone the experts after discovering a lost Mayan city. William Gadoury, from Saint-Jean-de-Matha, Quebec, made the discovery by comparing star charts with satellite images. The new city, discovered in a Mexican jungle, is thought to be the fourth biggest Mayan city, and has been named 'Mouth of Fire' by the teenager.

It seems that not everyone is convinced that he discovered an ancient city. Some "experts" are saying that the outline is that of an old corn field. We won't really know until someone raises enough money to finance an expedition to actually visit the site.
