Our news today indicates that 1 person in our fair city is on said hit list.
He has been advised to be on high alert and be careful. He has decided to advise his neighbors and family. He has taken up arms. Told friends and family all to just be watchful of anything unusual.
This strikes me as both sad and terrifying. But terror is what these "rebels" want.

I would hope I'd continue to live my life rather than hide away in fear - if someone seriously wants to assassinate you then all the security in the world cannot guarantee to stop them.

There is a list, it exists, people on the list have been advised.
But you honestly are not safe anywhere ever. But do you advise everyone you know? Or do you just go about life as normal.
I really don't know what I would do, I certainly would hate to panic my family and friends.

Terrorist hit list
This happened in the NYC area recently. As far as the police, etc. could tell, the names on the list were just random names, picked from the internet with no ties to any groups or organizations having to do with ISIS. But, I guess that's what terrorism is, random, to strike fear in the hearts of the average person. In NYC, we basically just continue about our business as usual, & "If you see something, say something."

Ann I have to agree, we have to NOT live in terror. Heck we could be hit by a bus stepping off the curb tomorrow, but we should not fear buses.
