I can understand you wanting to view your pet while away from the house, like a baby monitor, but to give the animal the ability to call you ?
And if you care so much for the pet......why leave it alone.....take the thing with you.
If the link didn't work, how did you know it was Petchatz ?

Last question first: When I pressed 'reply w/quote' the printed link appeared; I copied it & pasted it to Google.
I have cats, & they don't leave home, so I can't take them w/me. I would love it if they called me when I were out. I would also like to look in on them. I love them.

The cat used to escape from the other cat by climbing above her kitchen cabinets into a little cubby hole, don't know what it was there for.
Anyway, one day the poor animal jumped down and impaled herself through the eye on the extended aerial of the radio on the worktop.
Cost lots to sort the cat out with vet bills.
The cats still don't get on, they just coexist somehow.

Our family have had a bad week this week.
My adopted daughter tragically lost her baby at 8 months.
Everything was OK until Sunday night, then after an uncomfortable night, early Monday morning she was rushed to hospital where she was told her baby had died.
After a cesarean, her situation worsened as her blood pressure and increasing pain continued to rise until at the last minute another trip to theatre resolved the internal bleeding. She returned home late Saturday night after being told about midday she was OK to leave.
The physical pain is lessening with the help of pain killers, next will be the psychological pain.

Reading these various posts, Bruv, I can feel that you have such support from different directions, and it is sincere. Be strong for each other, all of you.

I have grown to hate communication by text msg. It is ok for a brief, immediate, topical conversation, but a couple of the grandkids use texting as their sole means of communication with friends and family.
I told them that the only way I will communicate with them is either face to face, or via telephone call. The grandson in Missouri now calls me at times, just to chat.
Granddaughter will go for weeks without any word, and then will show up at the door to visit and tell us of her latest exploits.
It's all good.
And the only time I bring my phone out during dinner is if the discussion gets around a topic which needs a quick look-up for definition or clarification.

One cannot find the least element of humor in any of this football coaching scandal but there's a perfect instance of opportunist redemption today: Higgins worked with youngsters at Southampton, who are renowned for their youth system, in the 1980s, leaving in April 1989 – the same month as the letter was sent. In 1992 he faced charges of sexual offences against boys but was cleared on the direction of a judge.
The BBC has reported that in 1997 more letters were sent to clubs warning them about Higgins. Police and social workers said they believed “Mr Higgins poses a risk to childrenâ€, the broadcaster said.
[...] In 1997 the Channel 4 Dispatches documentary investigated Higgins. It reported that after the court case he became a born again Christian and that he baptised players in his bath at home.
https://www.theguardian.com/football/20 ... ns-in-1989
Bloody evangelists, eh.
And still coaching football twenty years on.
Anyone starting from scratch asking where's most likely to attract a certain sort of chap in large numbers would instantly focus on two areas, coaching youth teams and scouting. I wonder whether BetFred has a book open on the latter.
