Pug follows me everywhere!!!
Does anyone else have this problem? Well, it never used to be a problem, but lately in last few months, my pug dog (Puggles) won't stop following me everywhere I go!!!!! He is 1 yr old and has always followed me in the house, but recently it seems I can't even go to the bathroom!! He is driving me nuts! I do love him dearly but I need a little space! It is so bad I have tripped over him many times! He almost wants to be touching my legs as I walk. He sleeps with his head on my pillow and wants to even spoon!!!!! I think he is competing w/ my husband for attention!! LOL...He is very affectionate but I am going nuts! Any advice?

I hate to say it, but my first thought is that your little baby needs a playmate. Another dog or a cat...

ROFLMAO!!
I haven't gone to the bathroom by myself in 18 years! A year ago, a trip to the bathroom involve a 118 pound rottweiler, a beagle mix, the family cat and myself! And all of this in a bathroom so small I usually undressed for my shower in the bedroom!
Put the pup in a crate when you need some space.

omg! how funny...I just said to hubby this morning "wouldn't it be great if the kids came down on Christmas morning and found a pug pup under the tree?" It would be great if Santa brought us one! I really wanted 2 when we got him, but I just need to make sure I can handle the 3 ring circus that already goes on here!!!!

I just love them too! Have you ever owned one? This is our family's first pug. I was raised on Boston Terriers and had a min pin for 11 years. He was a great little guy--but died due to complications from diabetes last year. My husband had a Boxer/Husky mix when I met him and we had him for 5 yrs...now that was a great dog.

I had a collie mix that was absolutely forbidden to get on the bed, day or night. Almost every morning I'd wake up to find him snuggled up next to me. He would actually slide into the bed under the covers without waking my wife or me! I never told my wife; she would have thrown a fit! :wah:
