I was happy to see that Macron beat the Le Pen.

Since then I have looked closer, apparently his wife is old enough to be his mother at 24 years older, they met when he was 15 and she was his drama teacher.

So far not too bad.

Now I have discovered he is an ex banker, so presumably further right of centre than is healthy.

Why is our political system throwing up these sorts of choices ?

An investment banker, who just decided to run the country. He and Trump should get along great.

The British may return a Corbyn Labour government next month, who can tell. At least we have a socialist option for the first time in decades.

Should Saint Jeremy fall in the anticipated Labour bloodbath following the election I fully intend to raise the socialist banner myself.

Have you a little more charisma ?

Let's hope he can listen to his life coach, he has given him the Milliband smile already.

It might sound superficial, but the speaker must be personable, otherwise his words (as engaging as they are) just don't get heard.

Then don't bother.

Think about it, would Hitler/Churchill have gotten where they got without their oratory ?

I see myself more as the Marie Antoinette of British politics but with tact.
