My house, I love my house and it always makes me feel good to think it's mine.

Red wine also works.

My subwoofer. It makes me happy to have deep resonating bass tones ripple through my body while my neighbor below pounds on his cieling with a broomstick. It all just seems to come together for me when that happens.

Coming home in autumn, putting the fire on and feeling cosy.

A boozy evening with good friends who have wacky senses of humour (the latest suggestion from mine being that I should forget the Tarot and palmistry and read people's nipples).

Stopping procrastinating about an important decision

Listening to baroque music

Red wine

White wine

Rose wine

Chocolate

Feeling there's a bigger purpose to life than routine, money, materialism

The one in my truck has a great amp attached and will rattle windows up to 2 blocks away when I crank it up :D Also have an amp driving the two speakers in my rear deck :driving:

The home stereo doesn't carry that much power since I usually listen to blues at home ;)

A full choir 1st service makes this little old choir director happy! Yahoo! Hope they return in 30 minutes for 2nd service, so we can sing it again!

Im a blues guy myself and personally I have a hard time not cranking it up. The one thing about a home sub though is you can have the volume down low but still get a full spectrum of sound. Ive got both subs actually fairly low because I dont want to drown out everything with too much bass. Im always interested in recreating what the musician laid out on the tracks and the sub just provides the deepest notes adding more body, complimenting rather than overtaking.

Walking in the rain with my husband makes me happy.

The first snow of the seaon.

Baking up a storm and giving it all away, which makes others very happy to be on the receiving end.

Ice cream with chocolate syrup and cashews.

Going for a long drive through the mountains.

Playing at FG.

E-mailing with friends.

And much more.....

I like it all !

Etta James winds me up pretty good...she can bring it up from the gut or smooth you right down in a candle lit room.

Robert Cray, Coco Montoya, BB (of course) Johnny Adams, ZZ Hill, Fabulous Thunderbirds, Bonnie Raitt....it all depends on my mood.

You ? Lay some truth on me.
