Pictures of people in those white forensics suits and masks coming in an out of a cordoned house/area.
The crowd: "Yes! We are all individuals!"

Lone voice: "I'm not."

Cutting to a live report by a reporter "on location" standing in front of a dark building where something happened 8 or 12 hours before. That reporter essentially repeats what the anchors in the studio just said.

Notice people arent "suspects co-operating' anymore? Just those "helping police with their enquiries"

It always looks more intriguing when there are still police and Emergency vehicles hanging around with lights flashing.

Agreed, or at least some police line tape they can point to.

People aren't suspects anymore, instead they are persons of interest.

It bothers me a little bit that the weather reporters seem so happy that the weather is so bad. They are so enthusiastic about how bad it could get.

We have one news reader who crosses live to a reporter then tells the story posed as a question to the reporter, all is left for the reporter to say is "thats right, back to you in the studio"....i thought the news reader eould have been pulled up over it by now, but nope, he still does it.

I am driven to distraction by the news people and their horrible grammar. Even on the national network News, these days, they make horrendous, and ridiculous grammar gaffes.

The generic photofit that bears no relation to the photo of the actual person that Police are keen to speak to.

You know, I think that could actually make for a good TV Game show. A panel has to put together a photofit of someone in the audience from vague descriptions, and the opposing panel has to identify the relevant audience member from the photofit.

News reports of car accidents. you know when they say " the car was 'travelling at high speed' when it hit/collided etc....I'm no physicist but I can pretty much work that out by the scene they are showing.

And I'm always amazed that they are allowed to show a scene that's spread out over 500 metres...... that's someones loved one. Some things shouldn't be shown. Is it me or are the media becoming more intrusive in disaster situations?

emphasis on syllables of certain words ...... I keep saying it's "con-trib-ute" not 'contra-bute'

it's 'ad-vert-ise-ment.' not 'adva-tise-ment'
