I ignore him.

We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act but a habit.

I think he is somewhat harsh, but people keep going to
his show. I guess they don't mind being demeaned in front
of a national audience.

I find it very annoying that once again.. Someone comes along with a winning smile, talks about issues that many of us could speak about just as well.. And the guy becomes a multi millionare. Why am I annoyed? Because I wish I could figure out a way to do that!!!!!!!!!! On the other hand... So many doctors and therapists are rude an obnoxious to people.. That I guess its good when the public finds someone who helps them.

See, didn't know his show reached out so far! So does that mean you "like" him?

In the UK it's on sky one. Can't say I watch it. We also get rikki lake, jerry springer, jay leno, not really stuff I go out of my way to see. I have cable TV the annoying thing of which is you have to buy programmes as part of a package you can't specify which individual channels. I agree with Bruce Springsteen most of the time 52 channel and nothing on.

Being friends with Oprah helps to separate who gets their own talk show and who doesn't. I've heard him say some interesting things and I've heard him ramble and self indulge. I agree, if he helps even a few people then it is good. But then his time slot could be filled by someone with far more insight and even more people could be helped. Who makes these decisions anyway? (please don't answer that) I also agree that it is annoying.

Dr. Phil
My wife loves him so at the DR's office while we were waiting for our appointment I requested that they change the TV from my stock station which they had it on prior to our arrival just by coquencidance(sp?).
All the gals there waiting for gynocological visit were bantering about how even guys like Dr Phil.
I don't love or hate him. His is more laid back then myself and probabally 99.9 of all men on the planet and I find him mildly amusing and generally do agree whith his points. Especially his retoric on how important the familly is. If he keeps this up I may move into the love camp:)
