We in the UK have a national vote each Christmas to designate the Sports Personality of the Year.
Perhaps I might be allowed to suggest Lauren James?
I might also suggest that the women's leagues could overtake the traditional fixtures' attendance figures over the course of the next decade. It's a lot more enjoyable. I reckon the side should play Gareth Southgate's England squad for a friendly too.

When you design tactics to maximise suffering on civilian populations and your only constraint is operational rather than moral, you've told the world who you are.

An unfortunate selection given her sending off today.spot wrote: Sun Aug 06, 2023 2:34 am We in the UK have a national vote each Christmas to designate the Sports Personality of the Year.

Footballers are always winning SPOTY - maybe we could go for one of the Netball players?

I have seen a clip of the moment in question and I think she was quite oblivious after the collision, I don't think she had the slightest intention.
I shall go and look at the netball contest of which you speak. I played netball in my youth.

It's the stamp that I called oblivious, nothing else. I may be wrong, obviously.Bryn Mawr wrote: Thu Aug 10, 2023 12:39 pmNot the initial collision, the stamp as she got up afterwards.spot wrote: Wed Aug 09, 2023 5:41 pmBryn Mawr wrote: Mon Aug 07, 2023 4:41 pm
