The reputation of this abysmally designed company is not high to start with, but this...
No email from Evri on any of these occasions, no SMS. Today I had an email from eBay at 16:07!
I've been to their AI chat agent on every occasion, they have my phone number, they have my full address, they have a what3words code, and this idiot "can't deliver" is on its third attempt.
I had one email from "support" saying they'd retry, no reference to my additional information, that was 7 days ago.

Hi Claire,
I think finding the right building is an aspect of being a driver. I'm not sure what you think a Royal Mail address is for these days.
More particularly, I don't regard myself as being an Evri customer. I have no control over who delivers parcels to me, it can be and is any of the UK firms. I consequently find it hard to justify adding a delivery firm app to my phone. I have no agreement with you and most particularly I have not agreed any of your terms and conditions - your customer did that - and your app will, I suspect, demand that I do in order to use it.
I note I still don't have my parcel.
Best Regards,
John.

> Rather than having to provide us with instructions on every parcel, you can set up delivery preferences for all of your future deliveries. This includes setting a safe place or preferred neighbour, a pin location or what3words for your precise address and you can also give us a delivery instruction in your own words.

Re: Delivery reputation, Evri (previously known as Hermes)
I would say that Evri have a very solid reputation - a solid reputation for failure to deliver.
That the management believed that rebranding without an associated rewriting of the operational procedures and retraining of the staff would wipe away the reputation Hermes had built up speaks volumes for their incompetence.

The claim "This e-mail (which includes any files/attachments transmitted with it) is confidential" is risible, too. And why might I not accept their T&C.

Re: Delivery reputation, Evri (previously known as Hermes)
They did again!
They carried five shirts in a bag to my front door, perched it on the box I'd left out for them to put it in if they felt the need, the door was unlocked for them to slip it through if they wanted to, the doorbell WORKS and they didn't hang around if they used it, and I've not been out all day!
And then they took it back with them saying, for the THIRD time,
12:46 - Wed Jul 02
We're sorry, we were unable to deliver your parcel today. We'll try again on the next working day
I've had no emails before or after from them, no SMS before or after, I found that on their tracking site by looking for it. And they have my email address without any doubt at all. And they have my phone number without any doubt at all. And they have their logs showing my repeated attempts to get someone to sort this without any doubt at all. And the have it indexed by all of that and I still haven't got my five shirts that were dispatched on 16th June!
I had a delivery today by Royal mail parcels, no problem at all.
I had a delivery today by Naked Wines courier, no problem at all.
Evri is, to my mind, a rogue company.

Look it up, Evri, if you ever get to see this. I have no way whatever of speaking to any of your helpline staff, if indeed any such people exist.
