Now I know you all get in the pub drinking beer and G&Ts, but when it comes to choosing wine, what do you choose and why ?

I like RED wine ...not too dry...a Shiraz is good specially the sparkling one made by Harveys...very potent...phewww

Why do I like red wine...because I'm not too keen on chilled drink (only milk) and red wine has to be served at room temp.

Ah yes, one of my favorite subjects. I like reds and whites. I am partial to Cabernet Sauvignon & Merlot in the red wines and Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay in the whites. Australia, New Zealand and Napa Valley wines from California are the wine growing areas that I prefer.

During the mid 60's Napa Valley Wines were selected over French reds by all French judges at a International Wine Grading event. The French, in dis-belief, conducted the testing again, and Napa Valley wines came out on top once again. Europe no longer can claim wine quality dominance.

Cheap wine's good. I only drink dearer stuff when it's on offer....sweet wine ..me too.

I like to try other peoples home made stuff...very interesting range of tastes. My Mum used to make parsnip wine ...it was great stuff.

Mmmmm, nothing better than a good wine, nice cheese and great company!

On a summers day, or for lunch, I like a crisp white - a sauvignon blanc or semillon sauvignon blanc. With a heavier meal, or in winter a big red - cabernet sauvignon or a spicy shiraz.

Mostly drink Aussie wines, though the Malborough region in New Zealand makes some great whites.

Happy drinking to you all!!

Montana-------------A very good New Zealand winery. Look for a Villa Maria wine in the UK. It's also a Kiwi winery------compare it with Montana.

What wine will you be having with your Thanksgiving meal and your Christmas meal. We used to have Asti Spumante but I fancy something different this year.

I always bring a bottle of wine to my mom and step-dad's house. My step-dad will drink wine from a box if it's there, and I've been trying to impose a more discerning taste on him. So far, no luck.

I like Kendall Jackson's chardonnay, and Ecco Domani's pinot grigio for whites. Both go nicely with turkey. I will have to live vicariously through Bullet this year, though, I hope he's in the mood for wine!

Bullet's trial was a farce. Can I get an AMEN?????
