Anybody got early trick-or-treaters?

Post by valerie »

I did... yesterday. Well, they didn't actually come to the

door but there was a pirate and a storm trooper walking

up and down my street yesterday, the pirate busily

whacking heads off my flowers with his sword!! They were

so cute I didn't say anything... told Paul and he

said they must have been doing a "dry run"!

Yes! My doorbell just rang...it was the little boy next door. He is 5, Chinese and the cutest thing you ever saw!!!!! Wasn't dressed up or anything, just holding out his bucket and yelling "trick or treat!!!" I of course filled him up and he darted off to the next house! Adorable!!!

Not yet but they'll be out in force tomorrow night...sadly...

they don't dress up, they merely bang on the door and demand treats (which, translated, means money) and they do something nasty if I don't answer

Never get any at all around our way. Little buggers are to scared to go knocking on peoples doors.

Some people call the area rough some call it home I call it a s**t hole.

I don't do halloween give outs. I have yet to decide what to do, Likely hide in the basement and watch TV. Why I don't do it, cause my darn dog, barks, and bites and I can't run to the door all nite and risk him being bad, or loosing the cat by mistake either. So it is lights out and hide.

Where I used to live it was bliss as we didn't see a soul, no trick or treaters, no Jehovahs, no Carol singers etc etc.

Now I'm living back in town I'm getting constant knocks at the gate! I locked it so they can't get in! Besides my son is petrified of halloween. Fingers crossed there won't be any nastly 'tricks' outside my gate in the morning!

This was our first time in our house handing out candy so we wanted to stay home last night. We had fun looking at all the costumes. They were all so cute!:yh_pumpkn

We find over here that people don't bother dressing up, they just knock on your door and demand!

I Haven't Seen A Trick Or Treater In Years, Except For My Grandkids. I Live At The End Of A Long Unlited Drive In The Woods. Even Is Day Light It Seems A Little Spooky. Plus My Shepards Do Not Like Strangers, Especially At Night. It Stays Very Peaceful Up In The Woods.

I like it hehehehe I really don't like how upsetting halloween is to my dog. Poor guy, I would gate him up but he panics and it gets worse. I think A sign on my door saying I don't do halloween may reduce the problem a bit. I dunno my poor doggie.
