Broadband Providers

I am switching my broadband provider and would like to know peoples experiences of good and bad providers so i can make a judgement. Thanks

I'm with BT. I've seen cheaper, but when I had a problem that I thought was a connection problem, one of their 'help guys' pointed me in the direction of viruses etc....I had actually been invaded by a 'Trojan Horse'. I had to wipe everything and use the recovery disc to start all over. I had backed up my files 12 months earlier, but lost 12 months of files, photos etc. I was actually thinking of buying a new computer at one stage....any way...good old BT. I wouldn't change.

BT have been fine for me as well, bit slow reconnecting me when I moved house, but apart from that its great. My connection rarely goes down like some peoples with other providers. :lips:

Telewest blue yonder, part of the package is a free firewall, spyware detector and anti virus. It's avery bit as good as norton et al. They also have anti virus software on their e-mail servers whch adds another layer of security
