Let's make a pact. Everyone that comes here is just like us, until they prove themselves otherwise. That's the way I treat flesh & blood; that's the way I prefer to treat cyberpeople. Someone may come here with a putzy reputation (putzy's not a word, but you get the drift?) looking for a fresh start. I say give it to them.

I agree with you Bez. But fortunately, all the usual crowd is still here and from what I've read, there have been similar events in the past and these too have been thwarted. I really appreciated how the last influx was dealt with both by longstanding members and admin. But, if I'm honest, I'm still wary about newbies at present, having been fooled by one... but I've no doubt this will pass.

But even though I've been the subject of many of their barbed insults, I really cant think too harshly of them, as they are who they are. I found many wonderful friends amongst them. Not to mention my husband. One fellow moonie came to be bridesmaid at my wedding. And another is coming in May for a visit!

You know her as Minks. Another moonie we both knew, just passed away from breast cancer. So if camp humor isnt your bag........thats not the place to go. Other than that......go at your own risk!

Yeah I can understand the reasonings behind being a bit apprehensive about joining a new forum after leaving a bad one behind. I was a member of other forums, and they were pretty grim too, but similar to u, I joined FG, and haven't regretted it ever since.

Oh and I always have plenty to say, so getting an extra 40 or so posts probably won't be a problem, especially if I use a load on the word games.

LOL!! Sorry.......totally in the dark here.....as usual. I wasnt on yesterday at all, so I have no idea what was going on. My post reflects personal experience with them only. It's been a long time since I've been a member there, so I have no idea what they are up to these days. I'm afraid I'm really out of the loop anymore. I've got enough stuff of my own to keep me busy, so I really cant be bothered by the 'high drama' in playing tit for tw@t with anybody. Besides, it takes two to play that game, and I aint playin.
