So is it worth signing up for the $10 to be a forum garden supporter?

I've read the blurb but honestly what benefits are there?

Do you have to learn a funny hand shake or something and show your left nipple?

Yes, show your left nipple and all will be well in the world.

Money ! It's easy to sit there and say you'd like to have more money. And I guess that's what I like about it. It's easy. Just sitting there, rocking back and forth, wanting that money.

But cereally, it costs money to run a website and personally I felt guilty using and quite frankly abusing my privelages without making a donation. Also I thought they might give me a little more leeway when I go off on a Nomad tangent before outright banning me. In your case I should think your nipples would be contribution enough. More than enough really.

Yes. I signed up after about a month because I enjoy FG and I wanted to be a supporting member. So for me, it's well worth it for that reason alone.

I'll leave it to other supporting members to explain the benefits. I'm relatively new to computers and it takes me ages to try anything different and so I haven't taken advantage of the benefits on offer.

I fear my nips will remain covered for the foreseeable future, I might have someones eye out.

I know what you mean about donating though, I'm liking it here a lot.

How much is $10 in proper money then? About 6 quid?

Thank you for that Theia, I'm thinking along the same lines as you. I'll give it around a month and see if I'm still coming here.

Though I think I might be, it's a bit addictive here isn't it?:-4

well bandwidth costs and there aren't any pop-ups or annoying "click me" adverts here.

I've not been here for long myself. I'm going to give it a bit longer and make sure I'm likely to stay around before parting with any squids.

Thank you Abbey, it really doesn't seem a great deal of money to part with when you get so much enjoyment from something.:)

Hi guys...below is something I posted on 31st August...thought it was relevant to this thread.

I hasten to add that not everyone can afford to join ....we have choices...

"Guys and gals of the Garden.....Important news....

I am now a Supporting member of Forum Gardens and how proud am I ?(excuse grammar)

It was dead easy to make a donation and it is an absolute bargain. I have already had hundreds of pounds worth of fun and entertainment in just a few weeks not to mention the support in moments of need ..... free counselling...where else can you get that ?

I can't wait to go off and explore all the extra goodies that come with paid membership....I've already added a signature (ummm....will do better later).

The work that has gone in to establish FG and maintain it cannot be imagined ...the guys running things here deserve all the support we can give them....sooooooo.... if you were thinking about donating and becoming a Supporting member, STOP thinking about it and just DO IT.

Warm wishes "

Actually when the time comes Id fancy another pen. I started a journal...its a very nice leather bound book and Id like to keep writing in the same ink. Because Im anal I guess. Also I should mention I loved the DVD. Very sexy, I mean it, smooth video. Im a speaker nut. I frequently hit up the audio stores just to see whats out there. Thank you again. And Sherry ummm....I dont really have a name for the car. Im not that involved in it. LOL !
