Naughty Jenny wanting more attention

Post by jennyswan »

Hi guys

I posted this thread today in the Paranormal section but maybe it will get more viewing here. Sorry if I'm cheating a bit. Here it is

Hi guys

I hope I'm posting this in accurate forum. If not sorry.

Without boring you with all the details of my life:

Since an event in my life about 2 years ago I've started having these dreams when I suddenly realise that I'm dreaming. It freaked me out a little bit so I looked it up on the net (old faithful) and found the term lucid dreaming.

Sometimes I have more control in the dream then other times. In the beginning I found it interesting but now it won't turn off. I feel like my conscious is constantly awake. I'm now having these dreams where they are sooo real I actually look for tips in the dream to see if I'm dreaming or not. Sounds a bit nuts doesn't it.

Last night was sooo real. I was dreaming that I was going up a staircase in a real big house. I knew the house in the dream. It was like something out of the last century. I followed some friends up the stairs (nobody I know in this life)and then from the top window I saw a man downstairs and I instantly recognised him as 'Philip'. Also nobody I know when Im awake. I ran down the stairs and into his arms and he was crying saying how delighted he was to see me. This was ssooooo real. Not like a regular dream.

Can anybody advise me how to turn this off please??

Love Jen xxx

I have just talked about a similar type of dream in another thread, I wouldn't worry about it, I think these things are quite common, particularly if something in real life has upset you. Anyway, you are the only Irish girl on this thread and you look like that fancy one off the X-Files, I'm not dreaming that am I?

P.S. Did you ever find out why "meat" is so expensive?

Very nice jenny, good idea. Ireland is expensive indeed, but that could be a whole other forum, let alone thread. What was this about again, oh yeah, dreams. Well really I wouldn't worry, probably just a symptom of being a bit upset about something, I had a lot of strange dreams after me dad passed away. Didn't mean anything, just a tired upset head trying to sort itself out. Though I had a dream about exploding pound coins that has baffled everyone, including me.

Exploding Pound Coins, now that's on I haven't had before.

I found this on a dream dictionary:

Coins

To see coins in your dream, indicates missed or overlooked opportunities that come your way. To see gold coins in your dream, represent success and wealth. Silver coins represents spirituality, values, and your self-worth.

To see coins stacked in your dream, symbolizes masculine power, dominance, and energy.

To dream that you are flipping a coin, represents your casual attitude about making some decision. You may also not be taking responsibility for your decisions. Alternatively, it indicates your irrational thoughts.

Thank you, though I am still in the dark why I dreamed that I was throwing exploding English pound coins at terrorists who had taken over Carrick on Suir, I was in a Sea Link ferry sailing up the main street during the fight. It may be that I am just, a nutter.
