Gossip Forum? Hear me out...

I had posted a news story (a very incomplete news story, my apologies), about the teens causing a miscarriage. While I wrote what I had "learned" from a TV news broadcast, the story was incomplete. And some "facts" were even wrong.

It was suggested in one post that we have a gossip forum. I thought this would be a good idea in the sense that a thread like mine could be started, not neccessarily having all the facts, and the members here could look into stories to see what all the facts are. It could be interesting to see what everyone comes up with.

Again, my apologies for putting in a story that was incomplete to begin with. But maybe we will get an interesting new forum out of it.

It could go well with the debate going on now about whether or not the news is censored! Thanks in advance for everyone's opinions!

You could be banned for posting inaccurate information? Oh my god, be so very careful about that error....the story was a tough one to digest? Parsley Please? Its Okay, the new information could be incorrect also? Don't worry be happy!!!

I didn't think I was in jeapordy of being banned...(I'm not, right?) I just wanted to be clear that it's not my practice to do so. On the purpose of this thread, what do you think of the idea? Too "out there"?

And of course the new info. could be inaccurate, but that's the point of the request: to see how many different stories are out there, how they are found, etc....

Pay no attention to Paula luv, she's just kidding with you, although i am a little mystified by the idea of your thread??

Its quite easy to coroborate a story, i just typed in the details of the story you posted ( miscarriage) on google and et-voila, easy peasy lemon squeezy.

Actually that's not true Abbey, I know of a kidnap and torture case that happened here, I know the dates in question and the area... Nothing comes up on a web search at all.

Know it all happened though the guy was a patient and you don't make up stories like his without having the scars to prove it and he's going to have scars.

BabyRider, my comments were made because I was struck by how judgemental people had been without details of what they were talking about and I had an image of old women gossiping about it over the garden fence.

Letha, I had absolutely no problem with what you posted! When the story is not complete, I'd like to have ALL the info. No offense was taken, and I hope you didn't take it that way! I would always rather have all the facts! Thank you for looking into it.

So do you think this is a feasible forum? I think it could be interesting to see the different "facts" everyone could find on any one story, but then again I had just been debating about censorship in the news, so maybe I'm just loony.

Hope the feedback keeps coming!

I thought it was quite complete, actually, after looking at the newspaper article (accuracy of said also not guaranteed).....

I agree.This is a BRILLIANT idea and hits the mark as to the premise of a forum...Humility & a desire to SHARE is a Beautiful Character Trait we all can strive for an ABUNDANCE of regardless of how well-stocked our LARDER is
