Ok folks after the success of Nomads exchange programme l'm voting for a small gift exchange programme, kinda like a secret santa but you know the giver...

ok so who is with me, l got the idea also from a wonderful woman who has initiated it by sending me a gift xx your wonderful.

so come on folks who's with me

well l firured people could put up a wish list, and folks could secretly pm each other to keep the wisher out of the loop...

that way they get a pressie from a surprising place, country, person...

and we can make a rule to keep it under a certain amount of money..

just a thought anyway

I like this idea a lot. And now that I'm working and can be a bit more generous, I'd like to know if anyone would like something from my neck of the woods. Bullet and I are sending his sister a case of Faygo soda, because she can't get it where she is. Is that what we're talking about, "area-specific" stuff or anything anyone feels like sending or what? I want in!!! Someone tell me something to send them.

Well the way l see it is everyone who wants to take part puts their name in a list.

We then get given a name from that list secretly and then the secret santa goes out and picks up a pressie for the name they have been given,.

For those not comfortable giving out addresses try a works address or we could give you virtual gifts.

I thought we could set a price limit so people do not feel inclined to spend more than they can afford..

Maybe the moderators could join in also ???

What do you say tomb, anos??? (sorry if lm missing any)

The thought is open to suggestions, so feel free to wade in with one.

Only be quick weve not got long to go if we wnat to post gifts abroad.

Id like to be very clear on chimpanzees as gifts to Nomad. NO ! I dont like the idea of a $ limit though as 52" flat screen high resolution tv's are expensive and I dont want to get jipped.

Oh this sounds like such a great idea, but poor me is near broke, so the chances of me having any money to spend on gifts is close to 0%.
