I personally support the idea of people carrying digital signs with phrases such as "yes mate, I am up for it" or "not a chance you muppet", or in extreme cases "stop trying to flirt, this is a gardening centre", it would make things simpler, less mysterious and fun I suppose, but still.

Beverly Palmer, a professor of psychology at California State University, Dominguez Hills, explained to HealthDayNews, "...the No. 1 thing you can do to establish a relationship is simply look at the other person, especially when listening."

How long you hold your gaze is just as important. It subtly tells the other person if you're interested in him or her or just being hostile. Hold it too long and you're seen as unfriendly and antagonistic. Hold it the right amount of time, and you make the other person feel there is nothing more important at the moment. And that is sheer charisma. Or the look of love. The study findings were published in the journal Psychological Science.

A gaze, a stare, a glance back over your shoulder, a wink, they all work. Actually I don't care what kinda look you give in my experience it works. A nod, crossing your eyes sticking out your tongue...!! Any gesture towards a man is deemed a come on..!!
