Too much time on my hands?

Post by BabyRider »

Hello all...please tell me I'm not nuts....I just viewed my own profile, and found that I am averaging 26.39 posts per day. :yh_doh

When all of you resident regulars first joined up, were you this active, or do I just have WAY too much time on my hands?

And also, am I just posting in too damn many places? I know I'm opinionated and all, but SHEESH!!! I don't talk this much to my fiance!!! :yh_giggle

Anyway, I'm having fun. Of course this is what I look like every morning: :yh_hypno or maybe :yh_beatup
[FONT=Arial Black]I hope you cherish this sweet way of life, and I hope you know that it comes with a price.

Your post seem quality:) So as long as your not neglecting anything else I don't see any problem. Plus your new and will probably slow down after catching up to all the old post. I know I go in spurts. Some days I'll just read or post one or two and then there are days like to day where I am a posting pig.

Ive been scared Im addicted to this. Its weird for me because I was stubbornley anti anti computers. " Im not sitting at some key board talking to cyber space blah blah blah." Stumbled across this I think in November. Im hooked. Its surprising to discover you can make time for this... makes you realize you could have found time for other things as well.... I dont think its bad for me anyway because I have learned so much. And the frum has inspired me to learn about subjects I foolishly have taken no interest in. World events, a little politics, curren events. My world was very small. Sticking to talking about all the issues in life I knew so well... ignoring the rest. Im actually ashamed of myself. I still find it to be a bit of a strange way to communicate. Strange but definately valuable. The method has actually given me an idea for another topic.. When I have the time I am going to present it. By the way..... When I asked you if your mother in law knew you were a hunter...... My humor was aiming at the guns not the meat!!!! I have a bit of a bizarre sence of humor that sometimes needs my facial expressions, and inflection to carry it off... Thought the thought of guns around..... might keep her meaness in check. My son Tells me all the time... " Come on mom, being raised by you.. was like being raised by Dennis Leary. " Oh Well....

Well I have enjoyed your posts. I think if it gets to the point maybe where you

notice people stop responding to them or something you might reconsider! ;)

And I must have missed the ones that say you hunt... didn't know that.

What do you hunt? I just got sent some venison from my bro-in-law in

Idaho, it was the first my husband had ever had. He was a little leary of

what it would taste like, but he enjoyed it. I made chili which might have

had something to do with it... if I do say so myself!! :D

The desire to communicate and share ideas and opinions is the sign of a high level of intelligence and self confidence. You have to be thick not to be interested in what is going on around you and lacking in a sense of self worth when you confuse disagreement with a personal attack.

Clearly you are a stable intelligent individual with an eclectic approach to life and you have found kindred spirits. :D

Ten years ago you would not be doing this. Twenty years ago it was science fiction.

Well, that's a relief! I mean, I hold down a full time job and I'm not sitting hidden among mountains of dirty dishes and laundry. I just love to get back here each night and see what everyone has had to say!

It's also good to know people are enjoying my contributions...as I enjoy everyone else's.

And Cassie...hunting season is over for the year. The only thing I get to shoot at right now is paper targets! So don't worry about me! :yh_rotfl

Valerie: I hunt deer also...but go check out the "Fawn Photo" post. There's a deer I would just have to shoot pictures of! And venison chilli is one of my all-time favorites.

(Before anyone asks, no, I would never shoot a fawn, or a mother with fawns.) :yh_peace
