Heaven is ......

What is your idea of heaven? I don't mean in the religious sense, I mean what would make your world absolutely perfect even just for a day. Constant perfection would be boring but say just for one day you could do, be, say, meet etc etc anything you want what would it be??

May be a little too heavy for such a lighthearted thread, but I have often just wished I could hold my baby that I lost (born premature) just one more time. Even if only for a moment, it would be heaven. It would mean everything in the world to be able to kiss his forehead one last time.

I would like to spend a day with my brother and sister. Just hanging out, maybe driving around or at the park on a sunny day. I hate living out of state. :-1

My Heaven

having my daughters near, none of us having to worry and life being plain and simply easy, easy weather, easy jobs if we want jobs, easy living. No more struggles. That would be heaven.

My sympathies...

I am with you on this one although I had 2 miscarriages (1st @ 8 weeks in 1998and the 2nd in 2000 was between 3 and 5 weeks) and never got to see or hold a baby...but my husband and I have been trying for a year in October (we've been married since October 2003 and we are so ready...so my idea of heaven would be to have at least 3 children and hold them, teach them, feed them, wash them, laugh with them, nuture them, etc...

You made me cry! Thankyou Designergal for reminding me that i am so blessed. I have those 3 kids. I think today I will try not to yell as much as I had to yesterday. With tears still in my eyes as I type this, I say a prayer for you today. I pray for all good things for you. God bless you and stay positive!!

OOOOH, Im sorry. I didnt mean to make you cry. I think I coped pretty well although I do get frustrated from time to time that I'm not pregnant yet. Before the second miscarriage the baby was actually due about Sept 11th 2001, and as silly as it is, I think God wanted that baby in Heaven with him to help all of those people who died that day and had to go there even though they werent ready. But thats how I cope. And I just have so much love I want a baby so bad!!! My dad was a crappy dad and my husband is just so opposite. Thats the biggest reason I married him, he is so awesome. He will be a wonderful father. I could pontificate all day long about how great/wonderful/gentle/compassionate my husband is. It just makes me more impatient to have a baby because he deserves so much to be a dad! And I want to give my child the emotional/pshycological needs I never got. But this needs another thread altogether, sorry people, for getting off subject.

But Im in Heaven with my husband of two years and baby would just make it soooo much better!!

I've never wanted kids but I think it must be so hard if you do and cant.

A few years ago, I read that someone did their master's thesis on children's

ideas of heaven. One little boy said heaven was where he could go fishing

with his grampa.

And one little girl (I love her!!) said heaven was filled with millions and

millions of puppies... and no poop! She said she didn't know what they

did with all the poop but she knew there wasn't any 'cause heaven's

clean...
