My wife is an extraoridinary jam-maker and the many fruit trees we have provide her with plenty of product.

She makes an outstanding apple butter, and her grape and cherry are awesome, but for sheer delight there is a tree in our front yard that is a cross between an apricot and a peach. They're called "peachcots", sweeter than peaches, and smoother than apricots.

That is, by far, the best jam in this Universe.:D

can you make jam out of apples? sounds gak. I like marmite best but I did make a nice blackberry and whiskey jam this summer. Steep the blackberries for a few weeks in whiskey and sugar and away you go.

The aknowledged master of the "Jam" is of coure one Robert Marley of Jamacia, and his song "Jammin" is the definitive word on the subject of, well, "jammin". :guitarist
