patents on other.........

I need to know if I will get in trouble for downloading media or pictures from other websites and posting them on my website will get me in trouble with the law.

Does any one know about this??

I want to post some racing footage on my website that is free to watch on other websites .....will this get me in a lawsuit??

if it's copyrighted material, they would have to file complaint.

How do i know if its copyrighted.?

I mean-- some of the videos on the website are just in a window and there is no (c) in the bottem corner.

J/K.OK...but you won't. lawsuits are filed every minute and go nowhere. if there's a copyright you acknowledge it. if not, it's public domain. and how many millions are reading your blog? :wah:
