This afternoon I finally found time in my schedule to go and screen The Aviator, the latest offering from director Martin Scorcese. I was not disappointed. Leonardo DiCaprio was brilliant as the wildly eccentric Howard Hughes, and his completely believable performance coincided perfectly with historical accounts of the figure.
This movie is entirely character-driven. While there are certainly wonderful visual effects, such pale before the character portrayals.
I give this movie my highest rating: 5 out of 5 stars. A definite must-see.

I have got this movie on my must see NEXT list. It looks terriffic. DeCaprio is one of my favorite actors, and Scorcese is always brilliant. Do you know if this is the first time the two have teamed up? If it is, and the movie is as good as I've been hearing, I hope it won't be the last time! Looking forward to this one!!
