Ultimately, I would have to say I'm for it - but in a limited capacity. We should set moral and ethical limits at creating replacement organs - no attempts to duplicate intelligent life forms (cloning).

There is actually a new type of research going on here, where it uses the persons own stem cells are used
"The UK research involves taking blood from the patient and separating it into its component parts.
Stem cells are isolated from the white blood cells and injected into the hepatic artery in the liver, while the red blood cells are returned to the body through the arm."

I agree with this sort of stem cell research but am not sure about the rest.
