I don't know how many of you are devoted Apple fans, but Steve Jobs' MacWorld Expo Keynote revealed some amazing new things from Apple, including:
iWork, an Apple Office Suite = $79
Shuffle, the latest iPod - Flash based, 512MB = $99, 1 GB = $149.
Mac Mini - the "headless mac" - tiny, fully-capable macintosh, no display, keyboard, mouse, $499/$599.

Thanks for these links! I know one of my sons will be interested in the new shuffle. Much more friendly in price for a young teenager.

I'm curious. How do you think Linux will do in the years to some? I use open source software when I can, mainly cos I resent MS pricing (full office suite £450 in the UK. star office £65 and yes I do know that isn't open source like open ofice) I'm using firefox just now and it is sooo much better than IE. For my server I will probably use SUSE as that seems the most commercially viable.
