Wow some really nice fish there mate.

I wish we had woppers like that in Scotland, I have heard stories that there are big fish in Scotland but I certainly havent seen them.

Here`s some trout that I caught from my local loch, not very big , but you should have seen the one I lost. ;)

Where`s my passport :-6

On the other hand, do you fish in the nude? I really think you should post any photos available.

I don't fish without pants. That could be dangerous. Perilous. Peligroso.(sp)

And I couldn't post the pictures in public as people may make fun of me.

I did roll my fathers jeep a few years ago with no seatbelt. Walked away. Almost lost my shoe.

That is sweet. I have always wanted to flyfish in freshwater. And I would give anything to go Scotland. That has to be a beautiful country. Those are big trout. I bet they fought hard on the fly rod. Where is my passport?

As for the sharks and swimming. Yes. Actually those sharks are bullsharks and had been feeding off the scraps from the cleaning table for a week or so. We finally caught them the same day those pictures were taken and the dog and I were swimming.

I was in the paper and the local news. I have that picture too.

Uh

I'm sorry. I really am on a phone. I only posted a hosted link. I wasn't trying to cause problems.

This thing is slower than the slowest dial up. So it takes me three times as long to do anything. Including checking pm box.

Delete the pictures if you want. I will if you want me too. Whatever it takes. Ban me if necessary. I will understand.

The Cod looking fish is a grouper caught in about 120 feet of water off a coral reef.

The Cudas hang under buoys during the hot months. We throw tube lures at them using light tackle. They are pissed when they get a face full of treble hooks and usually pop the line.

I want to see more pictures of Scotland. Anything. Is there another thread I could go to or can you post them here. Understand the only times I ever see that country is through the Discovery Channel and my favorite movie ever made called Train Spotting. Which is written by my favorite author. I have read everyone of Irvine Welshs books. Most more than once. My favorite being The Maribou Stork Nightmares. But I digress.

I am part Scottish on my mothers side which may explain my fascination with that country. Her maiden name is Keirn.

The scenery there must be amazing.

What do you use to catch them? The farthest I have been from home was Costa Rica and we mainly surfed. Africa would be a pipe dream for me. Never gonna happen. I fear I may never see any foriegn countries before my number is called. Africa and Australia would be in the top five. Europe too.

One of these pretty boys (or girls !). I was working there for about a year and always found time to do the unusual. Mine , a litle smaller than this, was caught with an earthworm, yep a worm

WOW!!

Looks like a cross between a striped bass, Snook, and Barracuda. Definately a meat eater.

Earthworms??

Unreal!!

That is a cool looking fish. Exotic.

Most of my friends are guides which is why I hardly even know how to fish. My parents live on a lake that is teeming with fish. My friends come over to fish it and I sit inside. They call me on the cell when they have one on thinking they are taunting me. I sinply don't care. Its funny.

How is the weather over there.

Here are a couple of links to my sites rumdiary, although its mainly Portraits I do you`ll also find some Scottish images.

http://niddrie.tripod.com/scottpix/index.html

This is my first site, http://niddrie.tripod.com/ its a Local history web site of the area where I come from, not really Tourist type images but it does give you an idea of what much of Scotland is like.

This isnt far from where Trainspotting was filmed, maybe about 3/4 miles, the area has many of the problems associated with the film.

Great pictures. Great site. Many of those look like the exact location where that movie was filmed. There is another movie called The Acid House which is one of Irvines books of short stories. It looks like the same locations as that movie as well.

Are there a lot of fighting between the team rivals like he portrays in his writings. What about the drug use in that area. I would alsmost be scared to visit some parts as they probably don't like Americans. But I wouldn't know.

Thanks for the links and the great pictures.

I know. But you were against them from the begining. I understand the administration has to do what it has to do. And I understand most administrations will listen to members with thousands of posts numbers.

Hey whatever. I was just trying to introduce myself. Didn't mean to ruffle feathers. But some of the pictures deleted were the best ones.

Oh well. **** it!!

Sorry to offend. Don't want members sending secret emails to important administration people below the radar. That would be bad?

Oh so....

Bad?

Sigh...

You told me not to bust the margins. But I knew not of what you spoke. So I posted pictures. And you pmed me. But my mail box was full cause apparently you can only have 1 or 2 messages. I did not know that. And I did not know about the margin thing.

I am sorry.

Please. Don't mind me. You are an attractive young lady as far as I can tell. And your husband is a fortunate man.

If u were not married I would make a run on you. Seriously.

I have a lot to learn. I have sent out pms and they are not getting sent. Ladycop was nice enough to point out that the inbox fills up quickly and comes to all stop if you don't empty it out. I did not know that. Since I am new I don't have the capability to create a profile or send out a private message unless one is sent to me.

Please excuse my seemingly rude behavior of not returning pms and or missing posts. I can be dense when it comes to this handheld contraption. I am actually a student in computer science and spending all my time typing from a phone.

I need therapy.

Thank you ladycop and Valerie for helping me figure this out. Believe it or not I was returning your pms. Or in my mind I was. They just were not getting out.
