Well, I've never been caught speeding, but looking up bunny pics found me this story.

Booked bunny gets parking ticket

BOOKED: Cliff Chamberlain and Bugsy

A TRAFFIC warden slapped a parking ticket on a rabbit outside a pet shop.

Shop owner Cliff Chamberlain couldn't believe his eyes when the warden put the £30 ticket on Bugsy's hutch.

The warden had been single yellow lines outside the store on Liverpool Road, Eccles.

But before the ticket could be placed on the vehicle, quick-thinking Cliff immediately moved the van to the safety of a nearby pub car park.

A few minutes later, the attendant approached Cliff as he spoke to a customer.

Cliff, who has run his Eccles Pet Store for over 30 years, said: "The attendant tried to give me a ticket but I had already moved my van round the corner.

"She then tried to pass the ticket to the lad standing next to me - but he wasn't even in a car. Then she said something like `Well someone's got to have it' and slammed it down on the rabbit hutch.

"I feel sorry for the rabbit - he can't drive and the hutch hasn't even got wheels."

A spokesman for Central Parking System, the private company which enforces parking laws on behalf of the council, said they were unable to comment on the ticket put on the hutch until the incident was thoroughly investigated.

She added: "On conclusion of the facts, CPS will take any necessary and appropriate action.

"In the meantime, it sounds as though the parking attendant has used their initiative in issuing this fine.

"Mr Chamberlain is at liberty to contest it."
