Christmas miracle

Well, this Santa is going to bed....it's 2 am.....but wanted to tell you all how I actually felt Christmas magic tonight. After kids were in bed, drove to my moms for the "stash" and it was about midnite....After loading the car, I sat for a brief moment at the kitchen table with my mom. It was nice. She gave me tips on playing Santa and reflected back to when my sisters/I were young. I told her how exhausting it all is and we both laughed. I really appreciated sharing this moment with my mother....now being a mom myself. I hugged her when I left and as I drove across town, the Alan Jackson song was playing ("Where Were You When the World Stopped Turning..??) ....and suddenly the rain coming down started turning into snowflakes. I reflected back on all those nights as a child I laid in bed on Christmas Eve just praying for a white Christmas!!! And now here at this moment, at 36 yrs old, I was witnessing the miracle of the rain changing to snow! I had goosebumps all over! I thought about all the good in my life and how blessed I am. I am so lucky. Merry Christmas to all and goodnite!! Robin

We're up! It's 9:30 am....only got about 2 hrs of real sleep. By 4 am, we were up to 2 kids in bed w/ us and a snoring pug! The 3 yr old stayed put.....The night wore on and the snow gently fell. This morning my childrenhad their white Christmas!I looked out the window,4:30 am and thanked the Lord. Well the husband and kids are all trying out their new gadgets/toys....think I will go join in. Again, Merry Christmas everyone!!!

Ps...I got TIVO for the bedroom!!! WOOO HOOOOO!!!!!!
