I saw this question asked a few years ago on another forum and there were several replies where people said that "Mc Donalds" was their favorite restaruant. Another said "Wendy's". Well, I like TGIF too, but some how don't think of it as a restaruant. The Four Sesons, Maison Capri, Annabelle's, are restaruant's. I think of TGIF as FAST FOOD EATING.

We frequent a lot of nice restaurants, there is a local Italian one with home made gnochi & breads to die for, we have a favorite seafood restaurant, a steakhouse that we love, a french restaurant we go to once in a blue moon.

I am yet to find a good japanese one, we have a benihanas but it does nothing for me. Also, no good mexican food up here which I love when I am in the US south/west. We do have some great greek places though, yum!

having said all that, I am not really fussy and would just as soon stay home and have eggs benedict.

Cassie...you need to come to my neck of the woods. I have never tried French food, (though would like to) but within 7 miles of my house I have the BEST Mexican, Japanese, Thai, and Greek food! Not to mention the best Chicago style pizza outside of Chicago.

BTW...Where have you been????

i have a world-class view of dining. but the best thing on the planet is a dozen fresh oysters and a pitcher of beer at a funky little joint in key largo. and maybe a slice of key lime pie.

L-C i've never had oysters, if you swallow them whole and don't chew them can you taste them? and if so what do they taste of?

They reckon that oysters are an aphrodisiac, did you have any last week :yh_wink :yh_wink

For a meal just the salt around the rim of a margharita glass sat on the deck at the Conch House in florida, sundown torches lit fishermen landing the catch, nothing better IMO

TGIF has the same fish I ate on my honey moon on their menue:) Grouper Grooper something like that.

May have to go get something to eat after reading this post.

As far as oysters my grandmother saved me from getting in trouble with spitting them out in a restraunt when I was in about the 3rd to 5th grade.

My dad was about to do some disipline when my grandmother said something and tossed one across the room:) After she did that I was totally off the hook:)

Most of my favorites are maw/paws so unless you have been to Colorado you would not have heard of any of them.

Favorite fast food is Wendys and Taco Bell. Use to hate Taco Bell and I still don't care for their tacoes. Wife has taught me much of the menue is quite good.

One of our favorite restaurants is the "OUTBACK"! Aussie style food, it's great!

(Try the "Queensland Chicken & Shrimp", or the "Jockaroo Chops", or the rack of lamb) :)
