This is true. Many years ago I got a job in a meat packing plant, my job was corned beef. Brisquets were in a large vat and when the meat reach the correct temp it was my duty to retrieve them from said vat with a pitchfork and lay them out. Each slab of meat had been scored with a triangle. With my latex glove I was to stick my middle finger into the tender of the meat to allow the love juices to be drained.

The 1st break they gave me I walked out and went home.
