Any New Year Resolutions?

Do you ever make New Year's resolutions? Do you go with the traditional ones-loose weight, get more exercise-or say phooey to this antique custom?

ALOHA!!

MOTTO TO LIVE BY:

"Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, champagne in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming.

WOO HOO!!, what a ride!!!"

That's a good one! I could use that too, in fact probably most people should. I think we all put ourselves down too much and take care of others whilst not reallly caring for ourselves. Yet my nurse and priest (there MUST be a joke in that somewhere! :D) have BOTH said you must look after your self/ love yourself as you have to look after and love your family. How can you look after them if you don't look after yourself too?

Anyway, I digress. My main resolutions are to save enough money to have a "financial buffer" in case of emergency and stop living paypacket to paypacket! (I've been reading too much online new years financial advice! Lol!) and also, I hope, to save enough money to take my kids to Disneyland this year! Thats a biggie, cashwise, but my daughter has been begging to go for years and if I'm VERY good this year, there is an outside chance of saving enough, which there never was before! Fingers crossed!

Eating healthily and getting fitter are also on the list...but God allowed chocolate to be invented so its a bit of a hopeless cause! hehehe :wah:

Personal goals:

Speak, read and write spanish fluently.

Business goals:

By the end of 06 I want five trucks and three man crews for each and I want to extend into the Northern bay area as far as Sacramento.

Secure a better lease on the current shop and warehouse.

Hire a full time dispatcher/bookkeeper.

Start a website for the business.

I want to finish my projects for my current regular employer and fade out and not take any new contracts with them.

I have goals for my children and my home as well.

I have no doubt with your obvious determination. Best to ya !
