Did anyone else see Dick Clark on Rockin New Years Eve last night, it was sad to see what his Strike did to him. He had slurred speech, heavy breathing between sentences, & he was only sitting behind a desk "indoors"! He looked disheveled. Ryan Seacrest, his eventual successor (who handled the majority of the event all night) said that DC was still recovering, one can only imagine how bad DC must have been. (for those who don't know, DC missed "last New Years Eve" because he had the stroke shortly before then)
The end of an era seems like it's near!!!:wah:

I saw him last night CARS and was saddened.. Then again I was amazed at his ability to go on the air when he wasn't 100% BRAVO DC YOUR STILL THE MAN.. :-4 Believe it or not he is lucky, it can take years of speech and physical therapy to recover even minimum amounts of who you once were.. He is doing great. Just link Michael Douglas dad... They are determined to no let it stop them..

ALOHA!!

I truly had mixed feelings. To see him struggle like that just to make simple sentences .... But to see him triumph over a stroke that leaves so many dead or vegetative! :yh_worshp

I can't get ANY reception for my tv so I didn't get to see him, but I read about it. I was glad to read he was there for the ball to drop again. Strokes are a terrible thing....:-1 He is a very strong man.
