Ok this should be in movies maybe or maybe not, but it's kind of a human interest thing.
I came to realize this weekend, that all the cost and hype for these big buck movies is just that a load of hype.
My daughter was allowed to pick a flick of her choice Sat eve and we would watch it with her. She chose....The Warriors. Now this is a late 70's or very early 80's flick for those of you who never saw it. I would class it as a "B" flick, and all the actors in it never went anywhere after this flick. It was about "gang's"
There was very little vocabulary the biggest insulting line was one member asking the other member if he was "going faggot", very few special effects and the fights were pale by todays standards. It had no deep meaning, or mission, it just was.
The daughter loves this show, all her friends love this show. They think it is great, they did not think it was lame or bad.
My point.... how has it come that movie producers think flicks have to cost more and more to be better?????

I agree Minks.
I think it's just a business for them!!
Like why should footballers and actors earn millions??
Not even all of them are really that talented? They get thousands if not millions for acting in a movie. It's nuts if you think about it.
There are people starving on the streets and they spend this much money on a movie. Theoretically not logical!! But I guess we don't live in a logical world anyway.
Having said all that I love the movies and seeing a new release on the big screen.
