What do you do?

I ususally surf while I'm in here. My normal working hours are 11:30am-5:30pm. If I'm here then, it isn't me!

tmbsgrl, are you showing concern on how much time is being wasted by so many people just sitting at their PC and staring at the screen? If yes, then your concern is misplaced as far as I am concerned. I am retired from active service and give consultancy to business concerns on management systems. I have ample time and believe me in visiting FG it is not wasting time but results in increasing my knowledge and information base.

tmbsgrl, I have no reason for being here. I just come when I have nothing else to do and I must admit I do enjoy the topics and the people. As far as always being here, I never log off because I am very computer illiterate and didn't Know I was supposed to. I only got on the internet because my boss gave me an old computer from work and to be honest I only used to play games for the first few months I had it. Didn't even know forums existed. Then I started checking out addresses that I saw on TV and now here I am. But still don't know what I'm doing.

Hi Tmbsgrl...I work, but my hours vary a lot. I can have 2 or 3 days off in a row and that's when I'm here the most. But even on the days I work, I spend some time here. And usually I'll check in, see what new stuff is posted, respond to what interests me, log off, and run my errands, clean my house, ya' know, normal "day off" stuff. But I always check back in again to see what people are talking about!

If it looks like I'm here all the time, it is because I don't log off either and I keep netscape minimized on my desktop when I'm at work. I check email and FG and a couple of other sites (news) when my ads are uploading as this can take several minutes with me just sitting here otherwise.

My computer is in a room at my business.. I also live on site with my business. I can take a 5 minute break.. run in the back and see whats going on.. Or I can sit for a long time.. Early Am or at night when Im through. Its become quite a habit, an enjoyable habit.

Same situation, its always here to look at. Everything you need right at home. FG has helped me stop smoking, despite the plants that irk me at times they have stopped the itch for now.

Hello gang, I usually forget to log off also. I just wonder in & out maybe every

other day to check on the new posts. I'm a stay-at-home due to a chronic illness.

I have too much time on my hands I suppose.

I presently work, but am retiring at the end of this month! So I plan to be in here more often than not, starting in February. Also at work, I have a PC in my office, so I just jump in FG periodically during working hours. (Don't tell my boss)

They don't let us online at work anymore:(

Makes the time from 3AM to 5AM move real slow.

I mainly go online on the days I have off that my wife works. I have thursdays/Fridays/Saturdays and every other wednesday off.

Been sick so I have been home more this month. Messed up my knee and picked up some viruses at the doctors more then likely.

My Just Over Broke job is youth service worker.

I used to forget to log off. Now I spend my first hour (I can't believe I'm awake) online and the first two to five hours after work (I can't believe I'm still alive) online. Sometimes I do the opposite now and check the responses without logging on. Usually something baits me to respond and I have to let you all know I'm here.
