I stumbled across this site a couple of days ago and signed myself up! I wanted to take a few minutes here now though and say hello to everyone! The site looks really interesting and I look forward to becoming a "regular" here.

Thanks for the welcome abbey! I've been enjoying (so far) playing the word games.......and I've been reading some of the other posts. It does truly seem like a very interesting site - so diverse - and so MANY subjects - there's just something for everyone!:)

It didn't affect me, no.....fortunately......it was farther west of where I live - it was closer to the attractions (Disney) area and we are east of all of that.

Here's a clue, Beagle...see the "new posts" button on the top bar? That's where you'll be able to track down most of the regulars like myself, Far Rider, Nomad, ladycop, Abbey, Minks, Chonsi, Clancy, and the rest.

Heya beeg ex Tampan here

I did my time in the swamp but but now Im FREE ! No more love bugs, havent seen a cockroach in 4 yrs, I can swim in the lakes without being drug to the bottom and devoured by a prehistoric reptile...its great !

LOL......You managed to sum up our state in one sentence! I hear what you're sayin' though - I really, really HATE those cockroaches.....especially the ones that fly. Hate them, hate them.
