Not so far... but you know, it's wierd, every time I see this comiong up

on the calendar, I DO get a little hint of "OHMIGOSH, it's Friday the 13th"!

Don't really know what that is, maybe just years of people joking about it

or something...

Friday the 13th phobia has its roots in the early days of Christianity. There were 13 people at Christ's Last Supper before his captivity, and then He was crucified on a Friday. Since then, the number 13 has been regarded as an ominous and unlucky.

The latest example of13 bad-luck was the ill-fated Apollo 13 lunar mission which was aborted en route to the moon in 1970 because of a fuel cell in the service module. The flight left the launching pad at 13 minutes after the hour on April 13. Interesting, eh? In China, 13 was regarded as the number of obstacles in a person's lifespan.

But it's not bad everywhere!

In the ancient religion of Mexico, number 13 were considered the most fortunate number- since it symbolizes the Sun, the male and positive energy.

In the Cabala, 13 is not regarded as unlucky.

In the second book of the Moses, one can study of the 13 attributes of God (Exodus34: 6-7).

In numerology, it is a number of practical, alert, and intelligent people. Those born on this date are very successful in scientific research and development. Their interests in religion and philosophy can bring them great fame and siddhis/ riddhis (powers that are believed to be supernatural)

No doubt in my mind what day it is and there is probably a full moon too. Work was extra busy. Fine. I can handle that. Then a friend of mine's sister was missing. Turned out, she was fine. Great! THEN my son's friend got beat up and an adult stood there and wouldn't let anyone stop it. He is in the hospital slipping in and out of consciousness. Want to hear real justice though? Karma perhaps? The piece of crap so called adult that wouldn't let anyone stop the fight is now in the emergency room after a car accident. This has all been in the last 2 hours.

Snooze, Bummer you had to leave San Diego you must miss it.. how the heck did you end up in Utah..?? Where did you live in San Diego?? I'm a native as well, we have three generations here. I grew up in PB then my parents moved inland to Allied Gardens (by San Diego State) across the freeway from it. I now live by the Stadium but spend most of my time in Del Mar.. :-4
