Back from holidays

Post by orangesox1 »

Hi everyone,

I'm home with all my arms, legs and body parts, I didn't even think about sharks while I was swimming in the sea. The first night I was so desperate to get to the beach we walked down there at about 10 pm in the dark and went for a swim. We went in the water almost every day, sometimes in the inflatable boat out on the waves or in the tidal river, no sharks there either.

It rained for the last two days, which was really great as we were in a nice dry trailer tent, but wasn't much fun yesterday though when we had to pack up in the pouring rain. Today we have to put the tent back up to dry it out.

I have a great tan as I forgot all about skin cancer too. :D

I see you had a great time, have you any pics to show us?

I'm sure the men here would like to see the ones where you're wearing that skimpy bikini. :wah:

No pics yet, I don't think I had one taken of me in my new bikinies either :( I'll get my daughter to take some of me in them but I don't think I'll be posting them up here.:D

Welcome back body and limbs and all. Sounds like a grand holiday... I am envious, want some snow?

I hate the snow, I grew up in North Yorkshire and that wasn't as cold as canada gets either. But I did live in Mongolia and Kazakhstan for a number of years which was enough to put me of for life.

Thanks for the offer :-6 have some sunshine from me instead :-6

Hi Orange

Glad to see you back. Sounds like you had a really nice time.

I must admit being Irish I find it kinda funny (no offense intended) when people talk about being afraid of sharks. I remember seeing Jaws when I was about 7 and being terrified of the water for years.

I think the Irish water is too cold and too salty for them :-)

Did you find 'Ritz' anywhere? :sneaky:

I brought you a shell from the beach, I wanted to bring a rock back too but it rained the last couple of days and I didn't get back to the beach. The shell is nice and pearly inside, if you PM me your addy I'll post it to you.

there is something in the water...fun.

the beach is a great place to be, i'd be a tough job scaring people away from the beach on a hot summers day.

glad you enjoyed yourself.
